It warms my heart to hear of more people learning about RAD.
I have five children - two have RAD (of varying degrees). It is tough - stinkin' tough - to parent RAD, and when you have others working hard to support the family, it can make a massive difference in the child finding healing.
I am married to a magnificent woman and have two beautiful children; a daughter age 11 and a son age 8. This blog was started as I entered recovery and continues as I embrace recovery each and everyday. I had a very "normal" life with a beautiful wife, wonderful children, a great career, and magnificent house. However, this "normal" life was turned upside down as I let my compulsive gambling addiction take control of me. My last wager was on February 28, 2005 and now I realize how everything in my life is a blessing. I am grateful for my truly wonderful life.
